AUTHORS AND ORGANIZATIONS:
Even if you don't belong to the Romance Writers of America, don't overlook their website when you are searching for information. They have a Romance Novel Database, lists of award winners, author events listings, bestsellers and upcoming books.
 Go to:

But the best thing about their site is THEIR links pages. There are literally hundreds of links to author, publisher and chapter webpages.

AUTHORS:
offer a wide variety of information on their websites. Some discuss only their own writing and publications, and you can learn a lot about writers' methods and styles from them. Others discuss the writing process and offer classes, articles and lots of useful information. Many also offer newsletters for which you can sign up. Examples of author sites:

www.maryjoputney.com/
www.lizfielding.com/
www.sff.net/people/alicia/
(Alicia Rasley)

CHAPTER websites offer a varying amount of information; some are simple, others are wonderfully replete with articles and educational opportunities. Some Chapter websites:

Prairie writers, check out the Saskatchewan Writers Guild...
A little off topic, but a great site with wonderful info for fiction writers:
